You see others do it. And it seems like everyone makes it look so easy.

But for some reason, success keeps eluding you. Every time you think you got it, a quick glimpse in the mirror, and insecurity creeps in leaving you back where you start... plain outfits!

Not this time.

Because this time you’re going to be armed with the same tips, tricks and secrets that the I use with my clients and discovered them in my 17+ years in the accessories business. So give these tips a try and see if they don’t work for you too…

PS: They work even if you're not into fashion and fear of making the wrong choices when it comes to accessorizing. Pinky promise!

1. Choose accessories that mimics your features

Many woman who’re doesn't accessorize don’t even realize that they need to look at their features and try to mimic what they see or have with accessories. And this simple step can help you feel more confident in choosing the right accessory, and stop failing in adding accessories to your outfits.

So, the first thing you need to do is really look at your features, and body.

If you have a more curvy body than angular, if your hair is curly or straight, if you have freckles, what is the shape of your face? Is it round, square, heart shape?

You’ll find that this part of the process goes much more smoothly if you apply these tips and tricks:

  • if you have a more round and curvy lines in your body you want to choose handbags , shoes and jewelry that are similar of your body shape

EXTRA TIP: this is even true to the prints you chose!

The pattern has more of a circle "vibe" and the accessories will be also round toes, and etc...

2. Choose Accessories that Mimics your Outfit

At this step you most likely didn't know either.

The concept is similar to the first trick but now you're choosing accessories that match the clothing. What you need to do is look at the lines and shape of your outfit and mirror with your accessories,

Most of my clients say that this is super helpful when they wear patterns or prints in their outfit.

BUT....Remember that doesn't need to be exactly the same shape, we're going to resemblance, the movement or lack of it of the piece. The idea here is to connect - link the pieces together .

EXTRA TIP: Try not to chose the same print in your accessories with the print you're wearing.

For example if you're wearing a leopard shirt, 🙏 please try not to match with a leopard pattern earrings or cuff, instead chose a oval link necklace that looks like the spots found on the leopard print, got it?

The earrings and the shoes looks like the oval shape found in the print.

3. Create a Cluster of Accessories

Leaving the best for the last, in this step you need to create a group of accessories you notice or you think you'd like to wear together.

You can choose them by metal color, a specific color or like I said before things that you like to wear together.

One word of warning: Try not to add more than 3-4 otherwise it can feel too matchy matchy and old fashion.

Here are some other dos completing this step:

  • Choose the group base on the metal color

  • Or maybe by a specific color ( red, blue and etc...)

  • Level of formality

  • Or simply by items that you know works well together
